What is the Students Union?

The York St John University Students’ Union is there to give you added extras to your degree.  Not only is it a great social space on campus for you to meet your friends and relax, it is also home to advice, representation and extra opportunities.

The SU is run by three full time elected Sabbatical Officers (the President and Vice-Presidents) and nine part time elected Officers (Chairs of Schools) as well as a team of full time non-elected staff.  The students’ union aims to include all students and represent your views to the University.
