What should I do if I have not received my Student Finance?

There can be a variety of reasons as to why you have not yet received your student finance.  The most common reasons are usually down to the time of year that you applied for your funding, whether your funding body has received all the evidence they require.

In the first instance we would suggest logging into your online Student Finance account for an update on your application. Following this, if you need further support we would suggest contacting Student Finance and they can be contacted on 0300 100 0607 and you will need your Customer Reference Number. 

If this delay in receiving your funds is going to impact on you paying your tuition fees or accommodation costs then you should contact the Finance office as soon as possible so discuss alternative payment plans. You can contact them on finance@yorksj.ac.uk or 01904 876452.
