FAQ 418
How do I respond to offers?

Once you have applied, you have a possibility of 4 outcomes, you will either receive an invite to interview, a conditional offer (where you have to complete certain requirements), an unconditional offer (where we will accept you with no further requirements) or a reject.

If you are applying through UCAS, once you have received your 5 offers, you will need to select your 'firm' choice, and an 'insurance' choice. Your 'firm' choice will be the university which you want to attend. Your 'insurance' will be your choice if you do not meet the requirements of your firm choice.

It is recommended that your 'insurance' choice holds a lower tariff condition than your 'firm' to act as a sufficient back up. If your offers for your firm and insurance are the same, if you do not meet the conditions, you may end up with no offers.

Direct applicants will also have 4 outcomes, and we will advise you by email of our decision.
