What is the structure of the University?

The University is made up of nine academic Schools and eleven professional departments and directorates.  These are all governed by an Executive board and a Board of Governors.

The academic schools are:

  • School of the Arts
  • School of Education, Language & Psychology
  • School of Humanities
  • School of Science, Technology & Health
  • York Business School

These schools are all supported by the School Administrative Unit.
