Student Finance have told me that they need confirmation of my attendance from York St John before my Maintenance Loan can be paid to me, how do I request this?
If you have applied for funding via Student Finance England (SFE) then you will need to be fully enrolled before any loan payments are released into your bank account, and Student Records will need to confirm this with the Student Loans Company. Student Records do this by submitting a "confirmation of attendance" through to the Student Loans Company, however in some cases this cannot be done.
To request a confirmation of attendance to be resent please visit the Student Information Desk in Holgate. They will be able to check that you have been fully enrolled, that we have your student support number, and then contact Student Records to ask them to send the confirmation of attendance.
